Trainings

Nobody knows everything. But everybody can learn a lot. On site and individual. 8 hours intensive training.

Beginners

This training is geared towards the spirit administrator, the key users and the managers. It includes installation and launching, a briefing about the technical structure of the database and about backup strategies.

Moreover, numbering systems, user rights and program options will be set. Master data will be entered or, if necessary, imported. Another important aspect will consist in the definition of the workflow and in advice concerning the user introduction (job definition, calculation templates)

Users

This training is for all spirit users in your agency. We will convey knowledge about the creation and modification of addresses, customers, suppliers, general correspondence, about creation and use of jobs and activities (internal labor/external service), printing possibilities/forms (estimates of costs, briefings, calculations etc.) We will explain the recording of work hours, simple project controlling, control of external services / incoming invoices, how to bring individual jobs or collective invoices to account, general accounting functions, open items lists and the dunning process. Other topics: incoming payments/outgoing payments, cashbook, information about interfaces and modules of spirit.

Experts

This training will take you into the depths of spirit. It is geared towards key users and managers. Together with you we will create internal calculation characteristics, statistics and analysis options. We will create functions for search and reporting and optimize the workflow and organization.

Maintenance contract

The spirit maintenance contract. Provided with all you need.

  1. all spirit updates/upgrades, optionally including data base licenses (updates are released every 3-6 months, upgrades are released every 12-18 months; update versions are available for download, upgrades will automatically be sent to you on CD/DVD)
  2. access to the protected user area on our website showing overviews of versions, plans for new versions and more tips concerning current versions/patches
  3. reduced prices of upgrades of external licenses, e.g. of the operating system, other software
  4. on request also installation of updates via per remote maintenance (via RDC/VNC or similar), update/ upgrade instruction per telephone (if you have a valid support contract), general guarantee and warranty of the features agreed upon, exceeding the guarantee period
  5. the possibility to test and impact current beta versions.

Support contract

The spirit support contract. Advice on call and also on site.

  1. telephone hotline that can be reached from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays
  2. e-mail support with a callback service
  3. periodical database maintenance (at least once a quarter or if required) via FTP, or alternatively via remote maintenance
  4. a protected internet area with tips and tricks, a download section for templates of reports, 4D Write and other special templates (e. g. special HTML pages for Spirit’s web module), discussion forum with other Spirit users
  5. preferred individual support, the fastest possible response time, callback also on Ã’bridge daysÓ and between Christmas New Year’s Eve
  6. including personal on-site support 1x a year

Individual adjustment?

Do you have very specific requirements? We develop very specific solutions.

Although spirit comes very close to being a series software because we have been developing it for many years, it can still be adjusted to your specific requirements. Whenever the “standard solution” does not fit, we will tailor a solution.

Maybe an adjustment to the current standards will be enough? However, even if you prefer a wholly new software solution we will be able to develop it. We use state-of-the-art development tools (e.g. 4D, VisualStudio, JavaBeans, Microsoft.net) and database tools (e.g. MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle).
